The invention relates to a method of producing a product, the method comprising converting a treated biomass feedstock to a product which is an alcohol, organic acid, protein, sugar, hydrocarbon, or mixture thereof, utilizing one or more cellulolytic enzymes and/or a microorganism. The treated biomass feedstock is irradiated with an electron beam and treated using a rotor-stator device. |
