a first detection unit configured to detect that an imaging apparatus is connected thereto; a first receiving unit configured to receive first function information about a function that the one or more remote apparatuses can execute on data from the imaging apparatus; a display control unit configured to perform control for displaying on a display a list including the first function information about a first function of the one or more remote apparatuses and second function information about a second function of the information processing apparatus itself; a second detection unit configured to detect one of the first function information and the second function information as being selected on the display; an execution instruction unit configured to issue an execution instruction of the first function to the one or more remote apparatuses when the first function information displayed on the display is selected; and a second receiving unit configured to receive, from the one or more remote apparatuses to which the execution instruction of the first function is issued by the execution instruction unit, data on which processing is performed.
