The present invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting the buoyance of a float and to a method for adjusting buoyance using the same. The apparatus for adjusting the buoyance of a float includes: a first water tank which includes a body part, which has a predetermined length, has one side with an opening portion and the other side with a sealed portion, and is made into a hollow shape to fill a predetermined amount of water therein, and a support part, which is formed on the bottom surface of the sealed portion of the body part, and has a cross section larger than the body part such that the body part is vertically erected; and an electronic scale which is arranged to be fitted to the opening portion of the first water tank to measure the buoyance of a float sunk in water and change the measured buoyance into weight and display the weight, and is separated from the first water tank after measuring the buoyance of the float to measure the weight of a sinker to be connected to the float such that a sinker corresponding to the buoyance of the float can be machined. By using the apparatus, the buoyance of the float can be adjusted. |
