PURPOSE: An AP(Access Point) connection device and a method thereof are provided to be connected most preferentially to the AP designated by a user without an extra operation. CONSTITUTION: A database(130) registers the BSSID(Basic Service Set Identifier) of an AP designated by a user. If the BSSID of the AP scanned by a wireless LAN module and connected automatically coincides with the BSSID of the AP designated by the user, registered in the database in advance, a control part(120) controls the wireless LAN module to be connected to the AP to be connected automatically. The database stores the list of AP connection history containing the connection history of the wireless terminal.
