A cleaning method of a cleaning robot for a ship according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a step where the cleaning robot runs on a side surface of a hull in an″S″shape, having a first horizontal distance and a first vertical distance; and a step where the cleaning robot runs on the bottom surface of the hull in an″S″shape, having a second horizontal distance and a second vertical distance. In the steps where the cleaning robot runs on the side and bottom surfaces of the hull, included is a step where the cleaning robot runs using at least one of depth information of the cleaning robot from the water surface and position information of the cleaning robot. By the cleaning method of a cleaning robot for a ship according to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to efficiently clean a ship using water surface information. |
