[Also in Group XXXIV] A ring 23 is held against a shoulder 22 of a journal 11 by a nut 25 seated on a threaded ring 26, which is divided into two parts and is retained in a groove 27 in the journal by a garter spring 29. The nut 25 is locked by a key 30 engaged in one of a series of notches 33 in the nut, and is held in the notch by a circlip 31. To facilitate its removal the key 30 is provided with a tapped hole into which a tool may be screwed. |
