An air duct (24) is formed in the surface of a fan shroud (10), such that the air duct communicates between an air intake (52) and the aperture (34) provided in the fan shroud. The vacuum necessary for proper aspiration of a precleaner (50) is provided by an air flow induced by a fan through the air duct. - The fan shroud is disposed between the fan and cooling module in a vehicle, and arranged proximal to the fan. The precleaner is mounted to the fan shroud, such that the aspirator port (54) is in direct communication with the air duct via the air intake. |
