[Class 87 (i)] A flooring unit comprises a wooden frame 3, 4 grooved at 15 and having secured to its opposite faces floor boards 7 and ceiling boards 8. The ceiling boards may be of plywood and the floor boards of plywood, fibre board and veneer or linoleum glued together. The frames may be divided by cross-members and filled with rings 9 of veneer sprayed with fireproof plaster. Adjacent frames may be bolted together and have dowels in the grooves 15. 'Additional grooves for gas pipes &c. may be provided in the frames.
