<p>PURPOSE: A flow forming apparatus is provided to replace a core block if necessary, thereby sharing the rest components thereof. CONSTITUTION: A flow forming apparatus includes a mandrel (100), a tailstock (200), an aluminum wheel (300), and an approximately disc-shaped spinning roller (400). The mandrel is rotated by a mandrel driving part. The tailstock is rotated by a tailstock driving part. The spinning roller is in contact with the side of the aluminum wheel which is rotatably supported by the mandrel and the tailstock, and then flow-forms the aluminum wheel. Both sides of the rotating aluminum wheel are respectively supported by the mandrel and the tailstock. According to pressurizing the aluminum wheel with the spinning roller and moving the spinning roller back and forth, a rim portion is formed at the aluminum wheel.</p> |
