<p>The present invention relates to a rotating drum for an ice maker, which can simplify a refrigerant circulation structure, can cause refrigerant injected into the rotating drum to be in a pressure equalization state by forming a refrigerant pressure equalization chamber, and can form a heat exchange gap on an inner peripheral surface of the rotating drum to greatly reduce the volume of the refrigerant in the rotating drum, thereby increasing the entire driving reaction speed of the ice maker. The rotating drum for an ice maker includes: a rotating drum (130); a shaft tube (210) which is arranged such that the rotating drum (130) can be rotated, and includes a refrigerant inflow and outflow passages (212, 214), a discharge port (213), an outlet (219), and suction/supply ports (215, 218); and a distribution body (220) which is integrated with the shaft tube (210) in the rotating drum (130) has a minimum heat exchange gap (a) to exchange heat with an inner peripheral surface of the rotating drum (130), includes a refrigerant pressure equalization chamber (b) therein, and in the distribution body refrigerant is supplied to the heat exchange gap (a) along a refrigerant passage (b1). Refrigerant can take heat from an outer peripheral surface of the rotating drum at the heat exchange gap (a) between the distribution body (220) and the rotating drum (130), according to the refrigeration cycle, thereby forming an ice layer.</p> |
