The present invention relates to a fuel cell stack and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention includes: a first electrolyte layer; a first catalyst layer formed on the other side of the first electrolyte layer; a second electrolyte layer formed on the other side of the first catalyst layer; and a third catalyst layer formed on the surface of the first electrolyte layer with the same material composition as the first catalyst layer. The first and second catalyst layers are combined to form an electrode. According to the present invention, by reducing the amount of platinum (Pt), which is costly, when manufacturing the electrode, a relatively cheaper and highly reactive catalyst, nickel (Ni), is used as a replacement to reduce the costs for the stack and to enhance the reactivity. |
