Disclosed are a method for providing an instant messaging service in a third-party service and an instant messaging server apparatus for providing the same messaging service. An instant messaging service providing server according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an interested information collection module for collecting user interested information of a third-party service terminal from the terminal; a receiving module for receiving an open chat room list providing request from the third-party service terminal; and a messaging service providing module for providing, to the third-party service terminal, an open chat room list related with the user interested information of the third-party service terminal, according to the request. |
