The present invention relate to a liquid crystal display device and an operation method thereof. One horizontal charging period is extended in an area having a bigger difference in gradations of data between adjacent horizontal lines, compared to another area having a relatively smaller difference. At the same time, one horizontal charging period is extended in an area having a longer RC delay, compared to another area having a relatively shorter RC delay.
