FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to valve engineering and is designed for reliable blocking of pipelines for media transportation, such as oil pipelines, gas pipelines or water pipelines, under pressure. A sealing element (10) is installed on a shut-off head (76) to block or restrict the cross-section of a flow passing through the main pipeline (70) or a pipeline (70). The sealing element (10) limits at least one cavity (22, 92) subject to pressure action. The sealing element (10) is fitted by a section with greater wall thickness (20) on the side turned from the direction of pressure affecting the sealing element p, which is provided with the possibility of radial swivelling deviation around the fixation point (80, 82). A description is also given to the usage of the said sealing element (10) in other pipelines for transportation of, for example, beverages and liquid food products as well as to the usage of the said sealing element (10) for close sealing of doors.EFFECT: higher reliability of a sealing element, especially at the pipeline repair.22 cl, 14 dwg |
