The objective of the present invention is to improve the acceleration performance of a car by restraining fuel pressure from being dropped from target fuel pressure when a car is suddenly accelerated. According to the present invention, a fuel supply apparatus for a car comprises: a fuel pump forcibly transferring fuel from a fuel tank to an engine; a motor for operating the fuel pump; and a control part feedback-controlling the duty ratio of voltage applied to the motor so that the fuel pressure can approach the target fuel pressure, wherein the control part increases the minimum value (the minimum guard value) of the duty ratio as the opening degree of the accelerator pedal of the car varies in an opening direction. |
