The present invention relates to a cut of a brittle material plate member like a glass plate and, more specifically, to a technology of cutting a plate member in order to separate a closed region from a brittle material plate member like a glass plate. According to the present invention, provided is an apparatus for cutting a brittle material plate member including a base part in which a brittle material plate member that is the cutting object is put and fixed; a cutter blade disposed to incline with regard to the brittle material plate member; a scribe line forming part having a cutter transport part transferring the cutter blade for the brittle material plate member; and a cooling part quickly cooling the brittle material plate member. |
