<p>The device (1) has a two-dimensional mesh generator for calculating a collection of contiguous polygonal cells from positions of antennas, where each polygonal cell is centered on a respective antenna position. An evaluator (302) calculates an average value of interference between one or more antennas of the polygonal cells and one or more antennas of adjacent polygonal cells, and to calculate a communication capacity value on an area of a network corresponding to a part of the polygonal cells from the average value of interference.
