The invention relates to a system designed for the drying and transport combination of mud produced in a sludge treatment unit after exit of the mud from the mechanical dehydration installation. For drying acceleration, the process comprises the low-thickness layering of the sludge onto successive belt conveyors driven towards the exit point where the dried mud will be loaded on a transport vehicle.
