PURPOSE: A synthetic lumber, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent abrasion of manufacturing equipment, and to reduce the cost by dipping wood chip, the raw material, in liquid pigment for coloring then manufacturing wood dust through pulverizing the wood chip. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a synthetic lumber comprises the steps of: mixing colors by dipping wood chip in liquid pigment; manufacturing a gel type mixture after injecting plastic and additive in the colored wood dust; and manufacturing a synthetic lumber by extrusion-molding the manufactured mixture through the mold of an extruder. The mixture comprises: 55-80 wt% of wood dust; 10-40 wt% of polyolefin resin; 3-6 wt% of binder agent; 2-7 wt% of filler; 0.3-1 wt% of antioxidant; and 0.2-1 wt% of UV stabilizer.
