PURPOSE: A method for providing location information of a client is provided to realize common location service request/response and a location transfer method using an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol), thereby enabling a client and servers using the SIP to use the SIP. CONSTITUTION: A client requests a location server to measure a location(205). Location information of the client is obtained from the location server(207). The client transfers the location information to the SIP server to provide the location information to the third person(209). The location information is transferred without respect to whether to set an SIP. The location information is transmitted after the location information is included in an SIP message. |
