The present invention relates to a semiconductor light emitting device which includes a quadrangle substrate; a first light emitting part and a second light emitting part; a separation pathway; and a connection electrode. The first light emitting part and the second light emitting part include an active layer which independently generates light by recombining electrons and holes; a first semiconductor layer located under the active layer and having a first conductivity; and a second semiconductor layer located above the active layer and having a second conductivity different from the first conductivity. The separation pathway is formed in the shape crossing the substrate diagonally to expose the substrate and separates the first light emitting part from the second light emitting part. The connection electrode crosses the separation pathway and electrically connects the first light emitting part and the second light emitting part. Each of the first light emitting part and the second light emitting part is formed in the shape of a triangle including a first side, a second side, and a third side. The first side is in contact with the separation pathway. The second side and the third side are not in contact with the separation pathway. |
