PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily position an electrolyte membrane/electrode structure and a metal separator relative to each other and minimize the occurrence of misalignment therebetween with a simple and economical structure.SOLUTION: A fuel battery 10 includes a power generation unit 12. A first resin frame member 58 is provided at an outer peripheral part of a first electrolyte membrane/electrode structure 16a forming the power generation unit 12. A first metal separator 14 includes heated portions 96a which are heated from a surface 14b in a spot manner thereby melting parts of the first resin frame member 58. The first metal separator 14 and the first electrolyte membrane/electrode structure 16a are integrated by multiple welding portions 98a to form a first structure 82. |
