PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel in which positional deviation of a casing part, a lid member and a body guard hardly occurs in a reel body of the spinning reel.SOLUTION: In a reel body 2 of a spinning reel 100, a rod attaching leg 2c is provided at a casing part 2a. The rod attaching leg 2c is capable of mounting a fishing rod. The casing part 2a has openable mechanism mounting space 2d for accommodating an oscillating mechanism 6 and a rotor drive mechanism 5. A lid member 2b covers the mechanism mounting space 2d of the casing part 2a. A body guard 7 is a tapered one for covering the rear of the casing part 2a and the lid member 2b. A protrusion 7a protrudes toward the lid member 2b from an inside surface on the side separating from the rod attaching leg 2c of the body guard 7. A regulation part 19a is provided at the lid member 2b, is engaged with the protrusion 7a and regulates the movement in the direction separating from the rod attaching leg 2c of the body guard 7. |
