PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a bentonite molded body, capable of easily manufacturing the bentonite molded body having a high density sphere shape.SOLUTION: A method includes an extrusion granulation process of mixing powdery bentonite with water and molding a bentonite molded body in a wet state by extrusion granulation, a rolling motion granulation process of molding the bentonite molded body which is molded in the extrusion granulation process into an approximately spherical shape by rolling motion granulation, and a drying process of drying the bentonite molded body which is molded in the rolling motion granulation process by dry shrinkage for densification, and the bentonite molded body is dried under air environment in which heat and/or steam are converting freely in the drying process. |
