<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verification control device for suppressing unauthorized reuse.SOLUTION: A communication ECU 11 including a control unit 19 provided in a vehicle 10, conducting electronic verification between the vehicle 10 and an electronic key 20 by consuming electric power of a battery 50, and permitting an engine 32 of the vehicle 10 to start if verification is successful, includes: a secondary battery 15 serving as an internal power supply for supplying the electric power required for the communication ECU 11 to operate; and a stop detection unit 16 detecting that supply of the electric power from the battery 50 stops. If the control unit 19 detects that the communication ECU 11 is disconnected from the vehicle 10 via the stop detection unit 16, the control unit 19 subsequently switches the communication ECU 11 from a normal mode for communicating with the electronic key 20 to a stop mode for not communicating with the electronic key 20.</p> |
