Method and device for plasma-electrochemical purification of flue gases from harmful contaminants by generating in the reaction zone a broad-range acoustic emission and impulse gas impacts, the device for the implementation of the method are designed with the inclusion of the following principle solutions: - Acoustic generator, generating acoustic emissions under electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic impact; - Pneumatic pulsator, generating discrete consecutive pulsed impulses and pulsations with constant power impact, combined with oscillatory and rotary motion; - Reaction chamber formed between needle and sheet electrodes; depending on the physico-chemical characteristics of gases the needle electrode is negative and the sheet electrode is positive or vice versa.
