PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that eliminates the need of troublesome operation for setting (authorization), commonly known as pairing.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a radio communication unit 16 that receives data from a portable telephone 2, and a reader/writer 15 that transmits an address of the radio communication unit 16 to the portable telephone 2. The portable telephone 2 includes a contact/non-contact IC card 26 that receives the address, and a radio communication unit 27 that transmits image data to the radio communication unit 16 by using the address. During the communication between the portable telephone 2 and the image forming apparatus 1, the reader/writer 15 transmits the address of the radio communication unit 16 to the contact/non-contact IC card 26, and the radio communication unit 27 transmits the data to the radio communication unit 16 by using the address. |
