The present invention relates to an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) resin for an encapsulant sheet of a solar cell and a solar cell module applying the same. In the present invention, movements of electrons in the encapsulant is inhibited and a cross-linking density is increased in the solar cell module using the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer as the encapsulant to increase the volume resistance of the encapsulant, and accordingly, the encapsulant with an improved insulation and the solar cell module applying the same are provided.
