PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth piece folding device capable of folding a cloth piece in three.SOLUTION: The cloth piece folding device includes a previous step folding device 24 for folding a cloth piece Y2 in two so that a front part Ya overlaps with a central part Yb, and a subsequent step folding device 25 for folding it in two so that a back part Yc overlaps with the front part Ya. The subsequent step folding device 25 includes a folding plate 25a for pushing up a border d of the central part Yb and the back part Yc of the cloth piece Y3 in a posture where the front part Ya overlaps with an under surface of the central part Yb, and a support member 25c for supporting the front part Ya so as not to be separated from the central part Yb when pushed up with the folding plate 25a. Since the front part Ya of the cloth piece Y3 is prevented from hanging down when folded in two by the subsequent step folding device 25, it is possible to fold the cloth piece Y2 in three by the previous step folding device 24 and the subsequent folding device 25. |
