PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method and an image formation apparatus capable of forming an image excellent in fixability and a blocking resistance in gloss coat paper for commercial printing.SOLUTION: An image formation method comprises: a step of discharging an inkjet ink on a record medium M; and a step of applying a post-treatment liquid on a surface of the record medium with the inkjet ink applied. The inkjet ink includes a water-dispersible colorant, a humectant, a surfactant, a penetrant, and water. The post-treatment liquid includes a water-dispersible polyurethane and water, and in addition, a polyethylene wax and/or paraffin wax. The water-dispersible polyurethane has a median size of 0.01-0.10 μm. |
