An apparatus allowing only a specific person to see content displayed on an apparatus for displaying images in an open space with many people present has not existed. The present invention relates to an apparatus for displaying images to only one person when a many people are present. The apparatus for displaying the images according to the present invention: displays a material image and a complementary color image by using a polarized image display device or separate image devices for the left eye and the right eye; and allows viewing the material image without exposing the eyes to the complementary color image by using polarized glasses or shutter glasses, wherein a person not wearing the glasses is exposed to the content image and the complementary color image and thus can only see an achromatic image due to mixing of colors. A monitor according to the present invention will allow simple viewing private information or confidential images without disturbing others from a computer monitor used in an office or a mobile image device used in public spaces, such as subways, buses, parks, and plazas. |
