PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for generating moving picture content in an electronic device, and a method therefor.SOLUTION: Embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus for playing content in an electronic device, and a method therefor. The method for playing content comprises: displaying a reference image of content; when sensing a user input, determining a playback scheme matching the user input; and playing the content on the basis of the playback scheme matching the user input.
