1. A highly specific and highly selective method of detecting ovarian cancer in a patient, comprising:
obtaining a DNA sample from the patient; and measuring, from the DNA sample, a methylation level in a regulatory region of each gene in a plurality of genes selected from the group consisting of: CYP39A1, DAPK1, CAV1, ARMCX1, ROCK1, CDKN1B, MLH1, MED1, PEG3, BEX4, SFRP1, CCND2, SPARCL1, ARMCX2, PLAGL1, RAD51C, SOCS2, RARRES1, UCHL1 and DIRAS3. |
