<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SiC fluorescent material and a production method of the material having improved light-emission efficiency, and a light-emitting element.SOLUTION: The fluorescent material comprises a SiC crystal having carbon atoms allocated at a cubic site and a hexagonal site, to which a donor impurity and an acceptor impurity are added. The fluorescent material is configured in such a manner that: the concentration of the donor impurity is higher than the concentration of the acceptor impurity; and a proportion of the donor impurity substituted for carbon atoms at cubic sites with respect to the donor impurity substituted for carbon atoms at hexagonal sites is larger than a proportion of cubic sites with respect to hexagonal sites in the crystalline structure.</p> |
