<p>Provided is an electric connector which has a configuration wherein a plurality of spring contact probes are connected in a prescribed order and which can be preferably provided with a common cover for the spring contact probes. Grounding spring contact probes (10, 10) and signal spring contact probes (20, 20) each have substantially the same amount of projection above an elastic cover (50) in the electric connector (1). That is, the upper ends (portions in contact with a mating device) of the grounding spring contact probes (10, 10) and the signal spring contact probes (20, 20) each have substantially the same positions in the axial direction. A contact sequence function is achieved by making the axial direction positions of the lower ends (portions in contact with a substrate (40)) of the grounding spring contact probes (10, 10) and the signal spring contact probes (20, 20) different from each other, that is, making the distances from the substrate (40) to the lower ends of each spring contact probe different from each other.</p> |
