<p>The present invention relates to a tidal power generation apparatus which not only is relatively simple without the need for a dam or barrage and can increase the efficiency of power generation, but also can minimize changes to an ecosystem in accordance with environment-friendly standards. As such, the present invention comprises: at least two ships anchored in parallel to form a water passage toward the direction of tide influx; a water turbine which comprises a rotary shaft disposed between the respective ships and rotatably fixed to a shaft support formed in each ship, and circular side plates fixed at predetermined intervals to the middle part of the rotary shaft, and which has, fixed between the respective side plates, multiple support spokes formed radially from the rotary shaft, a tide support ring supported by the support spokes, and multiple tide contact plates on the outside of the tide support ring and extending outward from the respective support spokes so as to form a tide resistance space therebetween; and power generation modules which are connected to either side of the rotary shaft of the water turbine so as to allow power transmission and generates electric power by means of the rotational force of the rotary shaft.</p> |
