<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of precisely measuring the distance to synchronize the communication in a semi-double communication.SOLUTION: Radio communication apparatuses 1 and 2 of a wireless communication system perform distance measurement based on delay time in data transmission and reception between radio communication apparatuses 1 and 2 in a semi-double communication. A range-finding part 120 of the radio transmission and reception section 10 in the radio communication apparatus 1 transmits a semi-double short time modulation signal including a symbol switching point pulse. A clock adjusting section 15 of the radio communication apparatus 2 synchronizes the clock using a symbol switching point pulse included in the received short time modulation signal. The range-finding part 120 of the radio communication apparatus 2 also transmits a unique word as a response after waiting a fixed delay time using the synchronized clock. The phase control section 20 of the radio communication apparatus 1 receives unique word transmitted as a response, counts the clock from the transmission to the reception, and subtracts the fixed delay from the count value to calculate the distance between the radio communication apparatuses 1 and 2.</p> |
