1. A polymer composition for a semiconductive layer of a cable comprising
a polyolefin (a), a carbon black which is selected from any of a furnace carbon black and acetylene carbon black, and an organic compound (b) which contains at least one structural unit with at least 2 conjugated double bonds, has melting point of 250° C. or less or a molecular weight of less than 10 000, and is other than 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline (TMQ) or a polymerised TMQ; and wherein the polymer composition comprises the organic compound (b) in amount of 0.03 to 0.9 wt % based on the total amount of the polymer composition. |
