A filter media (10, 10') for use in coastal and other high humidity areas is provided. The media (10, 10') includes a first composite material layer (12) having a melt-blown material layer, and a second composite material layer (14) having a polyester layer (18) and an electrospun nano fiber layer (20) laminated to the polyester layer (18).
