PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technique for uniforming thickness of an anodic oxide coating in anodic oxidation treatment of a metal workpiece having a protrusion on the surface.SOLUTION: An anodic oxidation treatment apparatus for anodic oxidation treatment of a metal workpiece 100 having a protrusion 103 on the surface includes: an electrolysis cell 20 for storing an electrolyte for the anodic oxidation treatment; a first metal electrode electrically connected with the workpiece 100 immersed in the electrolyte in the electrolysis cell 20; a second metal electrode facing the workpiece 100 in the immersion state; an electrode device 40 for applying a specified voltage to between the first electrode and second electrode; a holding device 30 for holding and rotating the workpiece 100 in the immersion state; and a first injection device for injecting the electrolyte for the anodic oxidation treatment toward a specified region away from the workpiece 100 in a retention space 20a in the electrolysis cell 20 so that the workpiece 100 is away from a line in the direction of injection.
