<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling solubility of ozone (O) in a liquid phase by increasing the concentration of Oin a liquid and limiting the number and the amount of unfavorable side products.SOLUTION: A method may include a process of providing a gas containing O, a process of introducing the O-containing gas into a liquid, where a combination of the liquid and ozone has a temperature between about 0.8 to about 1.5 times the critical temperature of ozone, and a process of isothermally increasing a pressure of the liquid-like ozone-containing gas having about 0.3 to about 5 times the critical pressure of ozon and thereby increasing the concentration of ozone in the liquid at least 5 times. These temperatures are represented with the absolute unit K. The method may be used for removing ozone from a gas or purifying ozone. A liquid containing high ozone concentration may be used for ozonolysis of a substrate.</p> |
