PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for an alternative route of a drive difficult point based on the determination of a driver.SOLUTION: A route search system includes: route search means for searching for a route from a departure place to a destination; retrieval means for retrieving a specific point positioned on a route and having a driving hindrance factor; display means for displaying the route by overlapping display information indicating the specific point on the route with a position on which the specific point is retrieved; and alternative route search means for searching for an alternative route for detouring the specific point shown by the display information when the display information on the route is input by a user.
