PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch type input device capable of reducing an influence of irradiation noise on the outside, while suppressing deterioration of detection accuracy and responsiveness.SOLUTION: A touch type input device 5 includes a touch panel 11 having a sensor pattern 14 in which a plurality of first electrodes 12 and a plurality of second electrodes 13 are overlapped in a lattice shape while keeping insulation between these. Also, the touch type input device 5 includes a controller 21 which applies a drive pulse signal by selecting the first electrodes 12 one by one, which selects the second electrodes 13 one by one and which detects a touch position on an operation surface 11a of the touch panel 11 based on an output signal output from the selected second electrode 13. Then, the controller 21, when applying the drive pulse signal to the selected first electrode 12, applies a cancel pulse signal having a phase opposite to that of the drive pulse signal with respect to one of the other first electrodes 12 to which the drive pulse signal is not applied. |
