PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus that provides a voice command guide applicable to a current situation of the display apparatus, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes: an output unit; a voice collection unit that collects a user's voice; and a control unit that controls the output unit to output a system response corresponding to the user's voice. The control unit performs control so that a voice command guide applicable to a current situation of the display apparatus is output.
