<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation method and a separation apparatus comprising membrane separation means using a zeolite membrane having durability to a water-containing organic compound of a high water content of 20% or more, a high permeation flux, high selectivity, excellent heat resistance preferably having acid resistance, and excellent chemical resistance.SOLUTION: A method comprises the steps of: introducing the water-containing organic compound of a water content of 20 mass% or more into membrane separation means comprising a zeolite membrane; and separating water from a water-containing organic compound. In the separation method and an apparatus for performing the separation method or the like, the zeolite membrane comprises zeolite having a SiO/AlOmolar ratio of 5 or more and a framework density of 10 or more and 17 or less, and comprising a 6-10 membered oxygen ring structure as skeleton structure.</p> |
