PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device positive electrode material which makes possible to ensure an electric property when being used as a positive electrode in an electrochemical device, and which is easy to manufacture and allows the corrosion of a current collector to be suppressed adequately; a method for manufacturing the positive electrode material; and an electrochemical device arranged by use of the positive electrode material.SOLUTION: A composite particle for an electrochemical device positive electrode comprises: a conductive material; a Ni-containing positive electrode active material; and a water-soluble resin including an acid functional group-containing monomer unit. The content of the water-soluble resin is 1-10 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the Ni-containing positive electrode active material.
