PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of completing financial transactions using portable phones while keeping personal information of transacting parties confidential.SOLUTION: A method comprises: receiving a payment request message from a mobile phone operated by a payer, where the payment request message includes a request to pay a payee a predetermined amount of money and comprises a personal alias associated with the payee, an alias associated with a portable consumer device and a transaction amount, and where the personal alias and the alias associated with the portable consumer device allow personal information of the payer and the payee to be kept hidden from each other; and analyzing the payment request message to determine if the payer is authorized to pay the payee. |
