<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that reduces the amount of color materials used for recording, and increases the number of reuse of a recording medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: image processing units 101a and 101b that perform processing of converting information concerning the brightness of input image data into information concerning brightness brighter the brightness of the input image data without changing the hue; a first recording unit 102 that performs recording on a recording medium with a first color material that cannot erase the image data; and a second recording unit 103 that performs recording on the recording medium with a second color material that can erase the image data including the information subjected to the processing to be converted into the information concerning the brighter brightness without changing the hue.</p> |
