<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a risk assessment method and a system for the security of an industrial installation of at least one company, which can simplify and speed up the analysis of potential threats.SOLUTION: The risk assessment method comprises the following phases: analyzing a first plurality of data and a second plurality of data for determining respectively an index of potential threats and vulnerability for the security of the industrial installation; and identifying a security risk value on the basis of the indexes of potential threats and vulnerability determined. The phase of analyzing the first plurality of data comprises the following phases: receiving at least one piece of information in the form of textual data from an information storage unit; effecting a correspondence analysis between the textual data and a plurality of data included in a master database of the company; and assigning a first relevance value to the at least one piece of information according to the result of the correspondence analysis.</p> |
