<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for external application that contains pyrroloquinolinequinone or a salt thereof, the composition exhibiting excellent stability of pyrroloquinolinequinone or a salt thereof.SOLUTION: A composition for external application contains (a) pyrroloquinolinequinone or a salt thereof and (b) at least one substance that is selected from the group consisting of (i) tranexamic acid, derivatives thereof and salts of tranexamic acid or the derivatives, (ii) hydroquinone, derivatives thereof and salts of hydroquinone or the derivatives, (iii) polyoxyalkylene alkyl glucosides, (iv) acetylated hyaluronic acid and salts thereof and (v) natural water-soluble polymers, derivatives thereof and salts of natural water-soluble polymers or the derivatives.</p> |
